Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a way to ensure that viewport shaders (basic colours via a Standard Surface) are viewable in the viewport on Standins?
I've tried applying the shader before standin export as well as assigning directly to the standin. I know calculations are deferred until render time but the issue comes in when an artist needs to visualize assets in the viewport when adjusting or set dressing and everything is grey.

I believe this will be improved in a future release. Maybe colored display layers could help meanwhile.
Okay, always nice to get confirmation. Thanks for the suggestion for using display layers, I'll check it out.
I'm guessing this could a similar thing to Viewport 2.0 lighting information on Standins? ie. shadows cast from assets etc.
