Trying to use Noice to de-noise. Regardless of the settings, if I select 'Render Settings/AOVs/Output Denoising AOVs', my image is blown out/overexposed.

Using Arnold 4.2.4 with Maya 2022.2 on Mac OS 11.6.

I was following a YouTube video and it suggests under file output to select Preserve Layer Name and Merge AOVs and under AOVs to use N, P, Albedo. But regardless of whatever I try, I always get a very overexposed image. Turning off 'Output Denoising AOVs' brings it back to normal renders.

I must be missing a major setting somewhere. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Output Denoising AOVs just adds some AOVs, it doesn't do anything to color management.
Where are you viewing this image? In the Arnold Render View?

First I use Render View which shows the overexposed image. I save it as .exr and then I use the Utility/Arnold Denoiser but get a blank file.

Nevermind. I see that the images have to be saved via batch render for some reason. Render View doesn't give a meaningful image. Thanks.
