Problems with edges in images with alpha

Hi! I have a character created with different planes with images in base color and its respectives alphas in "Opacity". I'm rendering it with Arnold in Maya and the only Light on the scene is a SkyDome Light.

The problem is that when I render the scene, the edges of the image have a little black line and I don't know why. At first I thought it could be because the Alpha image (but I've checked the edge is not soft, I mean, the color of the image cuts perfectly from black to white, there is no gray pixels...). So now I think maybe it could be because an antialiasing issue in Maya.

Info: The original images are created in 4K and I'm rendering in 1080. The problem is visible in viewport too (not only in render). When I use "Flat Lights" in viewport, the problem almost dissapears. I have tried to change a lot of settings (AA, Ray Deph, Shadows, speculars, roughness...) but nothing seems to be working.

Does anybody know how I could fix this problem?

Thank you so so much!!

Hello there, this looks to me like a normals issue, can you show your shader, render settings and display normals so we can see a bit better the state of the model , etc !

Thank you

Hi John Paul Giancarlo, thank you very much for your help.

Sure! Here I add two images with information about the Shader, the Light and the normals.

I'll be waiting for your reply.

Thank you again,

regards,

Daniel

How are the normals of the green shape behind it?

You could also try rendering it with the utility shader (reflection_lines) to evaluate the surface.

Thanks for your comment!
Well, here are the normals behid the image (all normals are in the other side, in the front of the image).

About reflection_lines.. I think it's not revealing because every image is a plane with the same scale, position and rotation... There is a character created by overlapping images. The difference is that each image have a different color image and alpha image.

Let me know if  I can send you more information..

thank you very much!

I've resolved the problem. I needed to change the background color of the image because maya detected the background as black (and created this lines...), so I changed the background color to the same color as the image and then this lines camouflaged with the image. Thank you also for your time!
