Hide Geo Clip visibility

Is there a way in Maya to turn off the visibility of Geo Clip without turning off the function? If you are using a large cube to cut objects it will block most objects in the viewport. Hiding it or turning it via layers turns off the cutting/clipping that is doing. Is there another way to turn the visibility? Thanks.

To clarify, I am trying to hide the Geo Clip object in the Maya viewport, not the render. It usually obscures things you are working on.

Also, once you add Clip Geo to an aiStandard material you can no longer view it in X-ray mode in the Maya viewport. Not sure why.

But thanks to Malcolm Andrieshyn over at Malcolm341 I have a solution. Once configured like below, you assign the Clip Geo shader to the object that will be used for the clipping. And it can be shown in X-ray mode to help see what is going on. With Malcolm's scripts you also x-ray objects individually.
