That's a generic error message, so we can't tell anything from just that.

Can you post an Arnold log (with verbosity level = Info) ?
https://docs.arnoldrenderer.com/display/A5AFMUG/Log

You mention AOVs in your question. If you don't render those AOVs, do you still get the error?

hi, stephen blair.

first of all, thank you for your answer.

arnold log :

00:00:06 1757MB WARNING | [gpu] variance_filter ("defaultArnoldRenderOptions/variance_filter") not supported on the GPU

00:00:12 3195MB ERROR | signal caught: error C0000005 -- access violation

--> no, It works normally. but, it is occurred in render sequence only. and batch render is not working too.

Running render sequence forces the maya2020.4 to terminate.

hmm..

Doesn't "arnold denoiser" support gpu?

I inquired about below are all gpu rendering. cpu render is woking nomally.

Message 6 of 7

noice (the Arnold Denoiser) is not supported for Arnold GPU, because Arnold GPU does not support the variance filter (yet).
