Car Paint anf Bump

Hi!, I'm triying to render a carpaint shader with a bump, but I can´t connect it. It's a limitation? thx!

How are you connecting it? There is currently a bug with Coat Normal.

Coat Normal? Right that's broken. It should be fixed in a future release.

Hi! I Use Arnol 5.1.0.1 and I have the same situation. I can plug the out Value of a aiBump2D in The normal Camera chanel of a aiCarPaint shader, but it did not affect my render. I try the same aiBump2D on aiStandarSurface and it work perfectly well. I wonder if it's a bug or if the bump need to be plug in a special way for the aiCarpaint Shader.

Fixed in Arnold 5.1.0.0

Use the Coat Normal.
