[Solved] Starting new topics from category pages and creating blog posts

Hi everyone,

We’re aware of a current issue affecting content creation in Autodesk Community.

• On Forums: Starting a new topic from a category page is currently not working. You can still create a new topic by navigating directly to the relevant forum board and selecting New Topic. 
• Community Blogs: Creating a new blog post is also currently impacted. There is no workaround for blog posts at this time.
  

How to execute the workaround and navigate to post:

We’re actively tracking the issue and will update this post as soon as we have more information. The Community-wide announcement will be removed once the issue has been resolved.

It works now never mind. Has something to do with the HTML some of the links in the reply

Hi all,

I just wanted to close the loop here with everyone saying that the issue of the thread has been resolved and from all destinations you can create a topic now, category or also forum level. 🙂 

@troyostrander - I also looked at your video, and you are right, there is HTML in the code from the word document, which you dont see, but it gets transferred over and then you cannot post it, as our community is pretty much HTML restricted for security reasons. My recommendation is always to never copy 1 to 1 from word, but have the content rather in notepad, etc. to get the clean, non html-meta adjusted text over.
