Keypoint Circle No Attributes Change, 2026

In Alias 2026, there appears to be no way to edit the radius of a keypoint circle  via the information window after you make it. With the rectangle tool you can edit length and width. With a circle there is no attribute box. I swear it was there in previous versions. Can anybody else confirm this? I know a good way also is to instead use a normal circle, let it be made at 100 mm and scale the DIA to what I want using Absolute command entry. But I like the Keypoint method better for accurate sized circles.

SOLUTION! : Must pick the curve not the object. When doing multiple segments, you have to change attributes for each curve. Attributes do not appear with pick>object.

Hi mcgeecardesign,

I think it works in my system with 2026 and constructions options set to Pro/E, see screenshot. In circle option box it works with deg3 and deg6 curve layout and I can edit diameter in info window attributes.

The same for me. I'm using Alias 2026.0. I did a couple of tests using the default construction options and creating keypoint circles with degree 6 span 1 and degree 3 span 6 and I can see and change the attributes in the Information Window as usual.

Oh I wonder, are you both making the curve in a single segment? I always make mine in 4 to get a nice breakup at 90 deg points, helps keep quick access to the exact center of the circle, and it's perfectly accurate with single span 6 deg curves. I do this with tires and wheels as well. I bet if I put it to 1 segment, the attribute box will be there. I wonder why they don't let you change it when it's broken up...

Yes, I did them using a single segment.

But it works also with 4 segments.

Simply, because it's a group of 4 curves, you cannot use Pick>Obj but you must use Pick>Curve (or Pick>Component).

Hope this helps

Thank you Fausto, you are correct! With 4 curves, you have to change the attributes for each of them. I wish it worked with the node itself, but at least I know now how it works now.
