Empty file - corrupted?

Hi, I went to work on a file already open in Alias but wasn't able to orbit with either the keyboard/mouse or the view cube. I closed Alias and reopened the file but when I did it was empty. No layers, no objects, no view window (but I can get that back). It would be a significant setback if I have to remake it so I'm really hoping to recover this data. Any ideas?

Perform a check disk on the hard drive. Running this tool scans the hard drive and attempts to recover bad sectors. Use the CHKDSK command. This is the command version of the tool we looked at above. Use the SFC /scannow command. Change the file format. Use file repair software.   mylonestar
