Hi!
I recently installed Alias autostudio 2017 on my PC with Windows 10. It worked just fine the first week and I was even able to finish a project. But since that project the software crashes everytime about a half minute after the workbences has launched.
Anybody recognize this?

Is your system hardware compatible with Alias? Check the links below:

A simple technique I use is to open the Start menu, right click on Alias and choose, 'Open file location'.
The folder Alias is installed in will open. Right click on the executable file and choose to run it with the graphics processor which is faster.
My laptop has an onboard Intel HD processor (default) and an Nvidia 750M. The Nvidia is definitely faster and more efficient than the default processor, although it's not the one recommended by Autodesk.
Even though you might set the faster one as default to run with Alias, it will still run with the original default everytime you restart the programme. So basically you have to go through this drill every single time.
Hope this helps.
Alias is not yet qualified for Windows 10, but the first thing to always try in these situations is to reset your AliasPrefs.
It seems that the Windows 10 thing was the problem. I right-clicked on the exe-file and chose to run the program in Windows 7 compatibility mode and now everything seems to work smoothely.
Thanks a lot for your help!!!!
