Straight cut in beam

Hello

if you use "element contour UCS"in advancesteel (see Attachment 2) on a beam and plate you will have the possibility to create a straight cut. But if you do this with two beams (see attachement 1) this possibility is not there.
This is strange. So the customers want to have this possibility also with beams, with the  "element contour UCS" command.
