Shear Plate Macro in Connections

Shear Plate Macro in Connections

When I create a shear plate connection with column stiffeners top & bottom on each side, the shear plate will be drawn correctly shear plate (shear plate macro 1). However if I change the column stiffener to "back" than the shear  plate will be drawn incorrectly. It will no longer drawn in between the top & bottom stiffener plate, but to the top/bottom of the stiffener plate (shear plate macro 2). Can Autodesk fix this problem.
