Please improve the documentation of Advance Steel, start with the numbering process. Discussion in the forum shows that a lot of users use working procedures that cause trouble, or lack knowledge about the numbering process and its traps.
Make a document that explains what happens in numbering. How tolerances are handled, how the nuimbers for identical (including tolerances) are unified and what happens with the numbers if parts of a group of identical parts get changed. (Keep numbers of not changed or keep the number of the majority). That the list of used numbers is stored in the dwg etc.
Explain why numbering strategies may cause trouble and when numbers are changed by design if properties of parts get changed.
