Distinguish between site and shop bolts

It would be very helpful for site and shop bolts to automatically be placed on different layers. You could designate different colors for the layers which would make it easy to immediately notice what type of bolts are in your model. We currently do this manually, but that has an element of human error to it.

It would be helpful to do this for site and shop weld's as well

It would be helpful to do this for cameras... just split the cameras in different layers with different colours (node, overview, intersection etc...)

For bolts and cameras you can use the search tools and assign a highlighting colour within the search, save the search criteria ,  use the project explorer and you will see the saved searches, you can rerun at any point to check for new bolts  set to site.   Also within the bim extract tools you can load a search criteria , this is then used for the extract, f on which you can produce a bolts list.    Also with the bom templates is a filter opition to get not select  site or shop bolts, so ev n if you select the whole model you can see which are site bolts within the whole model.

for cameras you could search by type and also then filter by the description of the camera if trying to find a particular type of camera.

again you could create a series of searches with different highlighting colours to show and mark each type.

you can also isolate myself this series of objects in the model, by use of the light bulb on off feature in the project explorer.

Agreed, but it would still be much simpler if the site and shop bolts were simply put on different layers when first placed in the model. This would provide for easy and immediate recognition.

I would also like to see different colors for site bolts and welds and shop bolts and welds.
