Custom Connections.

Having options to mirror and rotate custom connections in the dialogue box so you don't have to create LH/RH connections.

Great idea. It's annoying and time consuming to create mirrored custom connection every time for mirrored beams.

The annoying thing is in the image the SHS that the connection is attached to was not rotated or mirrored, it was copied using transform elements for all off them and starting from right to left the connections on the first half were all correct and the second half were all wrong?

Fantastic idea – having to create exactly the same joint for each end of beam doubles the modeling time.

It's probably because custom connections are based the beams ucs. I feel this would be a big change for AS to implement. I'm not hopeful. Prove me wrong AS!

I get that it is based on the UCS but all of my SHS columns were copied from one and not rotated or mirrored so why would half be OK and the other half be rotated?🤔

Well I don't want to take this fantastic idea and side track it so wont go further into your particular issue 😉

So yes, please add left/right adaptabilty.

Great idea! I would add some other functions:

- add or remove parts

- option to select other end of beam (in case when beam with end is used)
