Cloning Please.

Cloning Please.

In particular it becomes frustrating when you have columns or rafters that are opposite hand on projects. You end up basically performing all the same clean up twice on a member which is the same other than its handing. Also, similar to the connection library that we develop by saving our created joints, It would be a nice feature if Advance Steel could recognize the fact that you are using the same base plate or shear plate (as one generally does) that was used on a previous project & ask if it should apply the same drawing clean up as before. I know that for simple stuff, a good customization of your drawing output should achieve the same result, but not everyone, myself included, has the time or knowledge to delve deep into customization. This leaves me no choice but to clean up the same purlin cleat single part (for example) on every job.

Hi AS Developers.

It would be great  to get this cloning of  assemblies  done .Recently I had a  5 buildings with similar rafters and columns and had to go thru all of them ,about 6 Rafters (about 35 rafters total) per building was a tedious procedure and every rafter was full on ,see sample below . As a EX Tekla user cloning is a piece of cake in Tekla . This is "ONE" of the major draw backs in AS .

Please get this done. IT all boils down to, WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.
