Assembly with attached parts

Hello,

When for example a beam has two endplates and a attached plates. and i create a assembly drawing with attached plates. The drawing consist a assembly picture  and all attachedplates. If i move or copy or change something of the existing plates,  the revision is going well, but if i add a new plate to the beam, the revision is going bad. I expect that the new plate will be added to the assembly drawing after an update, but it is not. IIt is added in the BOM list, it is added in the assemblydrawing itself, but there will not be a new picture of the new attached plate. If i delete the assemblydrawing in the document manager and create the column again, the new plate is added. 

I think this has to be corrected. If something is working it has to work for the 100 % and not 80%.

I thought this is a general problem, that it's not possible to add something to a detail which is created with selected parts, this detail style is nothing else.
So there should be the possibility to add something to a selection, and therefore, there's an idea somewhere 😃

Hello Sebastian,

This assembly drawing is not created bij selected parts. i did not select the attached parts to add into the assemblydrawing. The drawing is created by advancesteel and advancesteel added the attacheparts by itself. So if the process can do this, it also has to do it after update.

I agree that it will be difficult, but maybe there is a sollution.

sorry I think we missunderstand us, what detail style kdo you use? If you have a mainpart with to endplates, and after you create a mainpart drawing, you add for example a stiffener, the Detail is not updated? This should work.
