I like the "create callout view" command, works like a charm EXCEPT if you have two callout views on a sheet emanating from two different views, you get two details LABELED EXACTLY THE SAME!!! C'mon developers, give us a way to edit the bloody text!!!

do you mean the naming of the callout? This is a default "unique cut view names in the drawing sheet" but then the cutviews are also named like this. I'm not sure if you mean this...your post maybe need a picture.

Accepted solution

This is the default I wrote, but as I wrote this is for the cut views too.

Thank you Seb.

I'm a bit frustrated today by AS2019.....hence my 'attitude'. I could have sworn that I had that box checked, but it wasn't.

All is fine, I know these days. But I think in these days it's important to use the forum. In this situations the things which often are not work as expected and normally will be accepted should be publish. And often these ''accepted" behaviours get a solution by another user.

New job, new day. Unique box is checked in "MT Defaults". I have one GA drawing with two callout views. Both are labeled "Detail A".

UPDATE: Deleting the detail and recreating it gave me Detail B.

But, why???  At this point, I don't care, just want to get this job out the door!
