Truss details on layout automation

Hi all,

When I create production drawings of (greenhouse) trusses, there is too much manual labor involved, in my opinion.
So I was wondering if I could automate the process a bit more.
when I create the drawing, I get a assembly view and 2 end plate views:

(blue lines are just defpoint lines to align the views)

But I still have to create call-out-views, I was wondering if there is a workaround?
The end plates have the model role: end plate to generate both views.

The end result should look like this:

(dimensions added manually)

Obviously I could use a larger layout, but that's not the point.
my question is purely about the automation of the process.

Thank you,

Kasper

Yes, it can be done, but it is not possible only with posting here.

1. Bracing points (work points of vertical bracing)-these will be system lines, I see you don't have them, but usually they should be included. Change the representation of vertical bracing to include System.

2. Make MP to be top chord and everything else referenced to it.

3. Take the default Truss UCS dwg style, copy the dimension strategy / requests and create new by using model roles and points to be dimensioned-I don't see anything that cannot be done, holes can be done 100%, system points, physical ends etc all can be done.

If this is a repetitive work, it will take some time to learn the dimension requests but it will save you time after that.

I wish it was a short answer, but it cannot be done in one post.

If it is made of steel, I can model it and detail it.
