Stretch or trim/extend folded plates?

In Advance Steel is there any way to stretch or trim/extend folded plates once they are created?  I made some 1'-0" long folded plates that I would like to use for stair landings of various lengths.  So far the only way I found to get the length I need is to merge several of them placed end-to-end (after overlapping the two at the end of the line to get the desired length).  The plates are thin gauge metal bent similar in shape to cold-formed studs and are intended to have concrete fill.

hi,

don't know yet for 2016 but it wasn't possible in 2015.

it should be on the wish list.

Any update for this in 2019? I'm in a similar situation. I want to shorten one side/end of a bent plate.shortenend.PNG

Hey! nevermind. Figured it out.

Split Plate by points or line works to shorten a plate.

The Shrink/Expand Poly Plate is a good command for this too.

Well, Not sure why I didn't notice this before. I guess I'm just used to working with plain Solids. We can Grip Edit these plates. Duh!
