Purlin section default?

Hello Guys

Firstly Merry Christmas to All...

I am trying to model purlin in a structure and I need a customized section that I have created previously...

When I model the purlins there is no the section that I have created...

I accessed the Mnagenment Tools and used the filter (typed purlin) to change the default sections for purlins and I did not found it...

I am confused with this...I restarted the program and I am with this issue

Where is the property that controls the section default for purlins?

See atachment...

If you are using the purlin SE macro, from the structural elements panel on ribbon home tab.

You our need to go to the database table gui allowed sections, found in Astorrules database ( via management tools) table editor. In there you need to add the user section reference to the purlin se rule.  If you look , there are existing references for other user profile definitions like “Albion, metsec”

this is process is the same as adding sections for railing, stair stringers, which you will find YouTube reference, AKN articles.

Make sure you use the section name type, not the profile type, the profile type is for standard sections like channels, beams, angles etc.

Hi,

This is ht etable you need ot add your purlin seciton to in order ot use itin the Purlins joint.

Ass a new line similar to the ones showing.; remember to use the proper TypeNameText for your section, not the user name. For example, if you have defined a user section called MyUserSection the TypeNnameText would be "Usr MyUserSection"

  • Usa la Palabra  "Andere
  • For "Section shape", use the letter "O" for tubes, "W" for all angles, "Andere" for "User section".
