problem with connection

hi all,

I can't create the connection of gusset plate to column and base plate. like in the picture below.

I picked the command (marked in yellow) picked the column and the plate and the C purlin,

and I get this message:

what is it? and what is the problem?

As @Sebastian_Eiche can you attached the model to see what is happening?

It is working OK for me unless yours is different?

Hi,

 

If the Magenta beam is the "Diagonal Beam" selected for the joint it won't work because it is not diagonal it is perpendicular to the column. It likely results in a divide by zero or something in the code.
