PLATE MITER

Hello,

Can we do miter cut in plates with the help of connection vault or advance tool pallet?

I am unable to find any such option.

try the  Mitre command on the features palette

also there is an older command still in the system for cutting plate to plate,  it does not have a command button any more, but still works:  ASTM4COMMCUTPLATETOPLATE

@johnjmbennett

Toll palette works if we miter plate against thickness.

Its not working if we have to miter against length and width.

It shows this message(The cutting plane is parallel to the plate you want to cut
Operation aborted).

Any other way to do that, because ASTM4COMMCUTPLATETOPLATE is also not

miter plates properly.

Try this:
Turn the plate into a poly plate via the check box inside the AS plate properties, then have the plates overlapping and drag the inside node back to meet the inside edge.

TBH thought the older command did that type of flat /plan miter. But been a while since I used it.

these are the older commands I recall
