Pipe railings and steel parts missing in camera detail drawing after "Force Update"

I am having an issue on Advance Steel where my newly revised pipe railings and several other specific model components are completely missing from my camera detail drawings, even after running a "Force Update."

The Problem:

• Original Design: The railings were originally modeled as HSS profiles, and the camera detail drawings generated perfectly.
• The Revision: I changed the railings to Pipe profiles for client request
• The Issue: The new pipe railings, along with a few other parts (stringers, bottom channels, lift lugs), do not show up at all in the generated detail drawing.
• The Check: If I convert the elements into solids, they do show up in the drawing, but this is obviously not a viable workaround for standard detailing.

What I have tried so far (with no success):

1. Checked for any model clashes and cleared/adjusted them.
2. Verified and changed the Model Roles of the missing elements.
3. Changed the connection welds from "Site" to "Shop" to ensure they are part of the same assembly

Since the drawing style worked fine for the HSS profiles, I am stuck on why switching to pipes (and the presence of those other standard steel parts) is causing them to become invisible.

Has anyone encountered this? Any insight would be greatly appreciated! (Screenshots of my model and the detail drawing are attached).

Hi @analyn529NG 

In your camera are you using the "Select object for camera" option? 

For it show everything you need to make sure the "Consider all objects inside the viewport" option is selected as the screenshot below.

Could you also share what drawing style you are using for the camera, my initial thought is the model role for the end of the railings are not included in the drawing style so no matter what you do they wont show. As a test could you change the drawing style to see if the results change?

Yes I am using "Select object for camera" option. I tried "consider all objects inside the viewport" option, and it does work and shows everything...but when I click Force Update - it goes back to my problem.

The drawing style I used was, 1- 3D View - Model - w/o labels, I also tried many different ones but it won't show up.

I could continue with my detail drawing, I just can't hit the "Force Update" or else it will go back to the problem.

do you try to "reselect" the objects? I would reset the selection and select the object again with the button

Yes I tried it but it still does not show up

You might have collisions in the model. Take a look at this video; maybe it will help.

I checked if it has any clashes and it does not, then I tried changing the size of the pipe and there are no clashes and it shows up however when I press "force update" when I need to update the detail - the pipes all disappear
