NWC Visibility in Drawings

I am testing a method where I'm attaching a Coordination Model in NWC format. I cannot get this model to appear in my drawings. Any ideas?

Check this out Sampie, may help.

I myself thought it would be something in Object Presentation.

Hi @Adrian.Mangan

Doesn't seem to work. Could it be the fact that the Xref is a Navisworks model and not a DWG?

Probably, you would have ask someone who knows more than me😊, haven't much experience with XREFs at all to be honest but I am interested. Let me see if I can ask someone.

I'm sure you have tried this but I believe this "External Objests" would control the visibility. See belowSampie.PNG

Hi @Adrian.Mangan

Yup, tried that. But it doesn't seem to recognize the NWC as a valid Xref Object.

  1. Asked around Sampie, apparently this will not show on drawings can only be used as reference.

I didn't know NWC could be xref in to model. Do snaps work on it?

...and fix the kiss export issues.

Hi @markhubrich

Yes, snaps work. Very nice way to model from a NWC reference. Just a pity it won't show the NWC on the drawings.

Sampie
