NC WITH WRONG MEASUREMENT (LENGTH)

Good Morning.

The profiles that contain bending/cutting have two measures:

*L system (it is the original measurement) and L section (it is the profile measurement with cutout).

When I generate the NC of this profile, it comes out with the measure of the L section. I needed it to come out with the measurement that is in the L system (which is the original measurement of the piece, without discounting the cut).

Does anyone know how to make this change?

Hi,

The NC files will always describe the finished shape of the beam including the finished length. Why would you want the NC file to describe the beam longer than it actually is?  If the beam has a double cut on the end then the saw length is calculated and listed. See my blog here.
