UK Advance Steel 2017.
When using the connection vault macros for connecting two Metsec cold rolled purlins with a sleeve over a rafter. The connection is incorrect, the
sleeve that is generated is at the incorrect height and with to many holes for the given section. The macro allows no adjustment to these.
Having discussed this with Graitec, it appears these macros have not been updated or validated by Metsec. Considering I'm about to start a project
that will have more than a thousand of these connections I'm a little concerned!
Is this going to be resolved by having a validated set of macros and at least more flexibility within the existing macro. This is the first major negative
I've found with Advance Steel and Autodesk needs to realize this needs to be looked at as a priority as this is a big part, time wise, of detailing most
projects.

Peter
