MAKE AN ASSEMBLY

Anonymous
Not applicable

Good morning,

In AS, It is possible make an assembly with all the pieces of the 3D? I mean, If I have to move a lot of pieces, It is better to move once than been moving piece by piece.

I don´t know If doing that is possible, but if it would possible, please, explain me how to do.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

You cannot make "assemblies" in Advance Steel like sub-assemblies in Inventor or similar. The assemblies in Advance Steel terms are to do with connecting objects in the workshop - i.e. fabrications. They won't help your editing.

You can use ordinary AutoCAD object groups if you like. These can help you to easily select sets of items. Icons for these can be found in the "Output > BOM on Drawings" ribbon panel.
