I am learning how to work with advance steel and I would like to share my opinion and a suggestion.
I have been working trying Advance steel and Tekla for couple weeks and I also have completed the beginners advance steel course. My first thought about Advance is a great software for shed and frame work only, which can really make job quick put parts together (thanks to the great library). however this software has few negatives point which in my opinion as user have to improves to make more attractive.
1- Generate drawing is easy, but to setup to get those drawing right is too complicated.
2- it is too complicated to work with purlins such like trimming and remove the section which you don't want.
3- Interact with inventor requires improvements.
now I also think inventor could do all this instead have two software.
4- learning website is soo poor missing lots of information.
my apologies and i could be wrong because I just have started use it , Now it could be a great software if Autodesk would take on board and make some improvements to make the software more friend interacted
