Hi,
Advance Steel can basically only import properly defined IFCBeam and IFCColumn type objects that are proper solids. No Breps or other object types. If you open that IFC file in a viewer you can see that there are no IFCBeam or IFCColumn type objects and the only object types are "Proxy" objects that are all Breps with no other meaningful properties. Therefore there is nothing intelligent in that file for AS to import.
