How to create this connection

Thile attached picture shows a tube column attaching to a tube beam ( canopy's) .

The connection we use are just welded inserts with hokes into the column and then bolted to the beam above.

How can I create this in advanced steel?

Any help would be appreciated

I believe you will need a custom connection here.

I am brand new to advanced steel I managed to make the connections from column to concrete floor and from the beam to the wall with plates and anchors and all. Could you point me in the direction of a good resource about learning how to make custom connections?

Hi,

Take a look at YouTube and search for Advance Steel IQ then look at episode 21. That is a lesson on Custom Connections.
