How to Create Curtain Wall or Storefront Mullions?

Does anyone know how i can model (mullions or curtain walls) in Advance steel? I attached a picture a single window but also of many just so you can see. Looking to model something similar, just for presentation purposes.

For mullions and light gage framing, Advance Steel is capable. Most likely, you will have to create custom shapes, here is a good video on how to do this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZ7uPJreRLo

As for modeling in Advance Steel, that is quite the broad question. If you're looking for fundamentals, there are tutorial videos and many resources to look into both on the Autodesk site and on places like YouTube. You mentioned it would be for presentation purposes - generally for architectural features this is better taken care of in other software like SketchUp (very popular) however Advance Steel *can* do these things given you're willing to take on the learning curve. Advance Steel's capabilities are more geared toward structural elements and is basically AutoCAD on steroids for this application, so just about all of the features you would find in AutoCAD are available.

This kind of profile (non conventional profile) needs tobe modeled as a custom profile or another alternative if you do not have base to model in Advance Steel. Try AutoCAD.

Send a picture of this mullion profille that I try to draw and send here.

If you are just using it for presentation only, you can directly make them with 3d solids or create blocks. Customized profiles (if not in blocks) may cause problems in BOM report.
