I have attached a screenshot of the table that in some youtube videos is populated with a number of extra options such as numbers of posts. This table activates when you select and part of the handrail set and right click and select Advanced Joint Properties. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. As it is I can not modify the handrail set to the degree required.

Hello Mick,

You have actually not used the proper tool to create handrail, what you have used is the tool used to create monowills, I'm attaching an image where you can find the other tool. that is handrail and you can find all the options to modify it there.

Thanks,

please try and revert back with the response if you got the solution and accept it here to as a solution.1.png

he has triyed to use the rite tool  , this tool make handrail with ball post witch is the way meny company make rail , the problem is autodesk have not finished the this maco thay put it in the whats new in 17 or 18  but havent fineshed it , like u cant even change the size of pipe u make the rail out of , conections on a slop/ stairs  are not at a slop

it dose have one nice feature , it splits the rail up in to sections so u can have different conditions for different part , so u can have post of top of pfc  then after it gos around corner it can be on out side web

Thank you for your input. We have found a Handrail and Stairs add on from Graitec Solutions which promises to fix the problem.  I will post the results when I have either proved or otherwise the effectiveness of this add on
