Gusset Plate Member Connection

When connecting gusset plate to beam and column, using "Gusset plate to column and base plate", we want to offset plat from column web 1/2". However the clip angle also moves back 1/2" with the gusset plate. Is there a way to to do this without erasing the intelligent connection and manually moving the clip back to web? What you definitely do is to add a 'cut on object' command and then you could combine it to one customer joint. I'm not in the office anymore, so maybe it's also possible in the connection directly but I could not test

Sebastian,

Thanks! That is a viable work around. Allows me to keep intelligent connection.
