What is the reason for the gap between the two sections?
we couldnt get the cut at object tool to work either....just yet another wierd quirk. However we did get the connection palet>moment connection tool to do it. lot of tweaking the connection, but it did work....

The problem was solved by changing the position of section.
But did not understand why it was not done in the previous position??
