Hello all,

Features Polygon contour doesn’t generate smooth curves similar to the reference polyline, please indicate how to fix it?  See pic.

the contour is to small. What you want to do create is a contour by a polyline which is so small, that the software could not create it. this is a problem because the radius of a few parts of the polyline is so small, that it's near to zero, and this is not possible.
I think you need this part only for showing, maybe as specialpart?
So why don't you scale it much bigger, create the feature and the rescale it back...this should work.

Accepted solution

So I scale it with the factor 100, create the polygonal feature (I recreated the polyline to be sure it's not the main problem).
Then create the feature, explode the plate and then rescale it. I would send it to you, but as I see, you use the AS2015 and by getting the dialog for an no authorized application, I think you use the old standalone version of Advance Steel which was from graitec? So I could not send you my AS2020 file =).
But here is a screencast from the result: https://autode.sk/2ZREAbw

Thank you very much for your time.

Yes. I using ver 2015. We don't upgrade because  Autodesk doesn't improve AS at the same speed that Graitec used to do it.
