Export List to excel

when i create some list in ads i need to export to excel file. But some format cell always is text, can we custom setting in ads export format cell is Number. Thanks

Hi @vuongbui.nuce,

Thank you for posting on the Advance Steel forum.

I assume you are working with the 2025 version, right?

If yes, then indeed, there is an issue that the "Numbers" are exported from the BOM list as "Text" in Excel. The issue has already been documented and sent to the development team for investigation.

 

For now, one method is to use the option "Convert to Number" option inside Excel file:

@vuongbui.nuce 

 

in the BOM Editor, have a look at this setting for each such cell. There are several options like in Excel.

thank you, @bigcarl5000kg @Emanuel.Nestor . it worked, but we need setup outputformat each cell, if we can setup automatic when export excel its very nice.

I have problem that after switching to numbers in export option it gives me 660000  instead of 0,66 , but positive is that it is not text but number. Any suggestions?
