HELP ME PLEASE!!

Okay, I was a tekla user for many years and have either forgotten or something, but i need to know how to get connections drawn onto their correct layers. For example I need bolts to go onto the bolt layer and my plates to go onto the plate layer. It just won't work for me?

When you're modelling is "Standard" the current layer?

Does it do that on that particular model or any new ones you start?

They are all sitting there ready to go, but they won't. Every time i create a connection i have to change the layers manually to get it right.

make sure you select "Stand Layer" like SS below. After that, all ads element will be correct with layer default assignment.
