I have a simple railing model and the drawing looks good but there is no BOM. What am I doing wrong?

Hi @jdk5225g,

should it be a BOM on the drawing or an external (separate) BOM?

For BOM on drawing, use the drawing teplate with BOM integrated.

For current drawing without BOM on, you have still the possibility to add a BOM from Advance Steel menu, then do update to put the informations in this.

+++ impossible immediately and miracles within 3 days +++
+++ the only constant is the change +++ stay tuned for more +++
+++ since 03/2023 is Advance Steel in maintenance mode, no further development +++

Accepted solution

HI,

As @bigcarl5000kg says, you should select a prototype with a BOM on it. Drawing Processes select the prototypes for you. Depending on your build (such as the UK Build) you might have Drawing Processes that make drawings with or without BOMs. Choose one that says BOM.
