I've been using the template called UK Saw list as i like the layout and it suits our shop floor. however for some reason Flats that are grouped and listed on the bom, don't have a saw length and simply have 0 in the field where the saw length should be.
I've opened the template in the bom editor but i'm not sure how or what to do to the template to get it to display a saw length for each single part it is omitting a cut length for?
Can anyone offer me any pointers?
cheers.

I dont think the saw cut list is designed to show flat bars. These are usually excluded from the list by using the recoding option in MT.

That's a shame, ok thanks Jonathan.

i may be wrong or it could be a glitch in the system, maybe @Emanuel.Nestor or @Bogdan.O can comment!

Hi nichaz,
Could you please check if those flats are actually plates in the 3D model and then mapped to appear as Flat beams ?
If this is the case, then indeed, the Saw length is shown as 0 for this plates.
The plate remains a plate even if it is "renamed" as a beam. So the Saw cut list cannot show something for it.
The purpose of Saw cut list is to show the beams, mainly the "Beams with saw cuts".
I hope this will help you.
Best regards,
Emy

Hi,
Another question regarding this particular cut list, when i have a job that has Lot numbers, ONLY the Lot numbers show up on the cut list (UK cut list template) and not their individual identification marks.
Is it a case of the column in the BOM not being wide enough to fit everything on or could it be omitting the part marks for some reason?
How can i edit the cut list so that it displays the Lot number AND the part mark please?
Cheers.
