Front view of beam drawing comes up inverted

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi guys,

I have created three assemblies, each one composed of two welded sloped beams (Picture 1).

However, when I generate the assembly drawings -using the same Drawing Style for the three of them- the Front View of the Assemblies 1 and 3 appears inverted (Picture 2), and the Front View of the Assembly 2 appears rotated (Picture 3)

Why could this be happening? Is there any relation to the way I have drawn the model, or with the UCS? Maybe the drawing style?

The assemblies are almost identical. The only difference between them is that Assembly 2 has cleats in both sides, and the other two have cleats just in one side.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

the reason is that this kind of drawingstyle depents from the Mainpart in struckture and not like in a view the UCS.

However, you can influence this by aligning the UCS accordingly and after you can use the button define assambly detailing direction.
