BEAMS Not Aligned in Join creation

Hello,

As you can see in the photo. Im trying to make 2 diferent joints, with different IPE dimensions. The problem comes when I realize that when i make the joints, the "heigth" of the beams are not the same ( Obviously because the Dimensions of the beams are different ) . How can I modified the join to line up the two beams ( green in  the photo ) .

Much thanks  and best regards

Hi,

Have the beams been modeled within the frame macro?

Kind Regards

Looks like you maybe have the system lines of the beams aligned, but both are on centre of beams? (it's difficult to see in the shaded view)

...so you need to set system lines to top centre position on each beam (and make sure they are aligned).

It is not an issue with the joint, but in the position of the beams themselves.

Yes, I use the Macros to make my Joints . Is this incorrect ?

Yes this is correct. What I did mean was if you had modeled the beams with the framing macro or manually detailed these?

I've uploaded a screen cast.

Hope this helps.
