AS21 - How to display dimensions in 3D Model View?

Is there a way to show/visualise measurments of parts and distances in the model view? Its really annoying having to go between models and drawings when you have a lot of them.

An example of this is adding purlins that have to be a different distances from a specfic point, then jumping between the drawing and model to make sure the dimensions are right.

-Set UCS along the area you want to measure (along the rafter to measure the distance between purlins using your example)

-Type out the command 'measuregeom' and hit enter

-Select 'distance'

-Select either end of the purlins to measure the distance between them.

Measurements between the 2 points will show in the dialogue box as an X/Y and Z distance along the set UCS.
