Annotation on midpoints.

Hi everyone,

There are several cases where I use midpoints to put some additional dimensions on my drawings (Part, Assembly, or GA drawings - makes no difference), to point out some important distances.

I use the Parametric dimensions tool in Labels & Dimensions ribbon, and I snap on the midpoints I desire.

Until here, it is clockwork.

The irritating bug is that each time I correct something in my model and I perform Force Update from the document manager, all these dimensions 'snapped' on midpoints, dissapear.

Any ideas on how to solve or work around this?

Thanks in advance,

CS

I think by default the manual dimensions are set to erase on update.

Check this setting and make sure it's set to "Don't erase any manual dimension point"
