Advance Steel - Railing - How to add a short post below the middle post

I am trying to make a middle rail continuous. The center post is cut to the same length as a picket. I want to add a short post below the middle post. I want the opposite intersection as the pic. shows. Is this possible in AS?

Try changing Post-Middle rail to continious
