Hi,

I am using an internal add-on that connects a database (Access file) to work in advance steel. It worked until yesterday, when I received the next message: Unhandled Delayload "cpprestsdk.dll" Module Not Found Exception at 8F7ECD29h when running add-on

I've been looking for any information but I have' found nothing.

Thank you!

Sarai

Dear @sarai2SXHU

I do have the same fatal error in my AutoCAD 2021 and 2023, trying to export data to Access.

On the internet i find the following link which seems identical to the above problem.
It probably has to do with an update of Office 365.

Autoplant CE Update 2 on Autocad 2020: Fatal Error: Unhandled Delayload "cpprestsdk.dll" Module Not ...

Quote: "Resolution was to roll back Office 365 update (we rolled back to 16.0.8326.2062, which might have been excessive, but effective)."

Hope this will help.

We had the same problem with our own proprietary software. turned out it uses Microsoft's AccessDatabaseEngine; I uninstalled it and downloaded the one at the MS site, which is a bit newer, and a reinstall solved the problem.

When does Autodesk come with a Hotfix? Problem is still going on on all our systems...

According to the guy who developed my company's add-on, the issue is with a newer version of the MS AccessDatabseEngine, so I think it's unlikely Autodesk will do anything about it. As I wrote above, our problem was resolved by installing the latest version from the MS site.

I was told by someone on another forum that they prefer the older version - 2010 - to the newer (2016), as it was much faster. We've never noticed any difference with our own add-on, and, anyway - if the choice is between working slower to not working at all, I know which one I'm choosing.
