There probably some old ideas there yes.
Votes for those old ideas?
Please note it's a Idea board not a to do list and even if a Idea is excepted it takes time to implement

Does it really take 3 years to weld a nut to a plate... this is just the first example of a great idea under review for 3 years.

I see your accepted Idea with Zero votes and raise you a Future consideration from 2015.

Or how about an Accepted idea from 2015 that is still not implemented.

You did not get it, let me explain how it works:
1. There is a need for software on the market for detailing
2. A few invest and start developing it
3. Bigger one is buying it, because sees users are willing to pay for it and there is potential in it
4. Development slows down and gets users frustrated. Product manager is saying that this and this has to be done in Revit (on the Adv. Steel idea station)
5. PM is hiding in the Riverside Forest and not stepping up and saying why this year we do not get any real update / fix as of 12/17/18.
6. Users stop paying in 2020
7. Users go to Tekla or SDS/2
8. You become jobless
9. Everything gets where it belongs.
Now-go back to line 4 and try to change the things in the right direction.
Simple.

Ilko,
Apparently I'll wait a year to see where this novel ends. I am not going to stop learning the software(just in case), but I am going to stop buying a license for the moment.

Same here, I am not staying with a software having zero improvements done, it is unacceptable.
PM is hiding and not saying as anything.

I'm curious about the above comments about zero development on AS and moving to SDS as a replacement. Are there any SDS/2 users here and do they feel SDS is being developed in a timely manner? Would love to hear some comments on that.

Anything that sits to the right of zero is more than a zero.
@bukko may answer your question if it comes for this year's updates, I think they have Tekla and SDS/2 licenses in their company.

For weld it's possible to use the command 'show shop parts' from the tool palette and then select the weld. This will show the whole parts which are connected in shop but better then nothing
