Adding a new set to an existing screw

Hello,

I try to add a new set to an existing bolt. But it doesn't work.

First I choose the EN 14399-4 Bolt

Then i go to the Set register and create a new set. I choose the washers and nuts and click apply.

But the settings are not saved. When i close the management tool and open it again the settings are gone.

What is my mistake?

You need to create the rules in the first tab.

I create a Test Set:

And just for having the set I add some values in the rule 1 of the parameter Tab (Could be changed afterwards)

If you don't add the Rule, the tab "bolts" could not be filled, because the length are calculated.
The calculation rules are always implement the nuts and washer, so it take a moment to understand how it works.

Hello Sebastian,

thank you.

Actually, I had done it this way.

But it didn't work until I entered some "wrong" values in the parameter tab like you did.

When I changed the values afterwards, creating the set for the remaining screw diameters was easy.

I creat 2 Sets named:  Nut+2Washer EN 14399-4/6 and Nut+3Washer EN 14399-4/6

Now I wanted to create a third set: Nut+washer+U-washer EN 14399-4/6 DIN 6918.

This does not work.

Is it possible that the name is simply too long?

I could not image the length is to long, but why not shorten it NW --> nut+washer

It's because, I will use the set name in the part list.

I just tried again. It seems realy depends of the set name. I used a simple short name and it works.

Sad.
