HOW ADD A BEAM 2 NAMES OF DIFERENT PROFILE BUT SAME SECTION.
EG. BEAM (AISC W12X26) SAME (IMCA IR 305X38.7)

hi,

try the mapping options.


There is a table that allows you gives an option to use a different token in the labelling of sections.  

so the beam can be a W type, using the external name it can have different values.

 

these can be added to the database table via the management tools.

 

The table is mapinterntoextern.

 

place the second alternative name in external 2 column /field,  then there is a token in drawing labelling to list this value.
