I must be dense.  I cannot open a blank screen to begin a drawing.  What are the steps?

Welcome to the forums, I see its your first post. What product are you trying to create a drawing wit? This is A360, and a Collaberation tool, but no editing. Let us know what you are using and we can try and get you pointed in the right direction for help.

I am dense. I thought this was a student Autodesk software.  I paid $16.05 for this.  How do I get my money back.
